Abby Ryder Fortson, a child actress from Burbank, is tipped for big things after being cast as Margaret in Kelly Fremon Craig's 2023 film Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret, starring opposite Kathy Bates and Rachel McAdams in the film adaption of Judy Blume's 1970 novel.

Forston was awarded CinemaCon's Rising Star Award during its Big Screen Achievement Awards ceremony in 2022 and was recently named one of The Hollywood Reporter's Top 30 Stars Under the Age of 18.
